OSRAM P-VIP® Lamps and Assemblies
OSRAM SYLVANIA Inc. (“OSRAM”) warrants each P-VIP Lamp and Assembly purchased via the OSRAM-ShopYourLight online store to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and operate according to the product specifications for a period 12 months from the date of shipment (printed on the product label), subject to the following conditions. If a P-VIP Lamp or Assembly fails to operate properly during the warranty period, OSRAM will, at its option, replace the product with the same or similar product at no charge, or offer a credit. Labor costs for replacement of defective products are not included.
The P-VIP Lamp or Assembly must be: properly handled and installed, including correct alignment and cooling; operated on a suitable power supply within the electrical values recommended by the equipment or television manufacturer; and used in a properly functioning projection system. This warranty excludes coverage for any defects arising from misuse or if the P-VIP Lamp or Assembly was modified in any manner.
All warranty returns must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving a Return Material Authorization, you must return the P-VIP Lamp or Assembly according to the shipping instructions provided with the RMA. The returned P-VIP Lamp or Assembly will be examined to determine the cause of failure and whether the product is defective and covered under this warranty.
The express limited warranty provided above is the exclusive warranty for the P-VIP Lamp or Assembly. OSRAM disclaims all other statutory, express, or implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, OSRAM, its affiliates, suppliers and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the P-VIP Lamp or Assembly, even if the damages were foreseeable or OSRAM was advised of their possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Effective as of January 1, 2018.
